Ashutosh Memorial School is located amidst lush green natural and rural environment of Dhanaicha- Malkhanpur. It is on the roadside of Kotwa, Hanumanganj Marg and very close to the world same pilgrimage and heritage site of our country, The Durvasa Ashram.
The school is established and run by Ashutosh Memorial Trust, Prayagraj. Currently it is recognized and affiliated from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)- New Delhi as a Secondary School bearing the affiliation number 2133851. Medium of instruction in all classes from first to 10th is English. We follow the syllabi by National Council of Education Research and Trainings (NCERT). School timing vary according to seasonal variations.
All the gazette holidays are enlisted in the academic calendar. Closer of school due to any other unavoidable circumstances is well informed to the students and their parents through social media. School celebrates all the important National Days. In addition to NCERT prescribed curriculum special classes are arranged for music, dance and yoga.
With the aim of imparting updated Modern Education special efforts are made to inculcate value education in the students of all the levels. School has an enriched library accessible to all the student, which facilitates diversified knowledge enrichment. Games and sports are a part of students daily routine which brings physical and psychological health to them. Courts for volleyball, handball, Kho-Kho etc, are well maintained in the school. Chess, Caroms and Table Tennis are indoor games facilities are also available for the students.
The house system is a traditional feature of schools. School is divided into subunits called ‘houses’ and each student is allocated to one house in the moment of the enrolment. Houses may compete with one another at sports and maybe in other ways, thus providing a focus for group loyalty.
A secondary feature of house systems is the competition between houses. For example, the traditional school sports day is usually an inter-house competition. Debate competitions and charity drives are also often organised along inter-house lines. Merit points for behaviour and academic achievement may also be totalled up for comparison between houses.
